De Mayo a Noviembre | 2024

About the course

Vinyasa OM Yoga TTC is a 200hr bilingual instructor training affiliated with Yoga Alliance.

Our approach is oriented to the synthesis of elements, today dispersed in different schools:
- Philosophy and History of Yoga, as well as its contextualization to the present:

- Vedanta
- Upanishads (non-dualism)
- Baghavad Gita (Bhakti, Karma, Jnana)
- Yoga Sutras of Patanjali (Ashtanga/Raja Yoga)
- Tantra

-Given the great disintegration of body practice in innumerable schools with different orientations, our proposal focuses on the reconstruction of the teachings of Tirumalai Krishnamacharya, grandfather of Modern Postural Yoga.
-The structural anatomical alignment preserved and developed by BKS Iyengar.
-The Tristhana (Ujjay, Banddha and Drishti), base of the dynamic vigor that characterizes the Ashtanga Vinyasa.
-The individualized adaptation of a specific practice for each person of Vinyasa yoga.
-Complementary Restorative Practices, present in Iyengar, Vinyasa yoga and defining Yin style.
-The proprioceptive intuition as the ultimate basis of the sequencing of Iyengar, Vinyasa yoga and Dharma Yoga.
-Contemplative Meditation: the clear and equanimous perception of what is.

-It is about taking a person with significant experience in the guided practice of asanas (2 years of classes no less than 3 times a week) to a situation that allows them to practice autonomously (Asana, Pranayama and Meditation) and to begin to experience teaching (Asana) to small groups.
-If your main motivation is learning and deepening your own practice and overcoming perceived/constructed limits, we require a deep commitment to the practice of Yoga and a
honest and clear desire to participate and learn. In this case, the Instructor Certification could be obtained at another time, having fulfilled the prerequisites and demonstrated the theoretical-practical proficiencies developed during the course.
